These are the drives of my CBM8250lp unit. Both are Matsushita 100tpi drives, which are essentially the same as the one used for the SFD1001. The controller board sits between the drives and the CPU board is located on top of the drives. Both boards need to be removed to get access to the floppy disc drives.

V-1541To access CommodoreServer.com from your Commodore 64 computer, you need to run the V-1541 program on your C64. You may download the V-1541 disk image, but you will need to transfer it to a floppy disk. You will also need an Internet modem that supports RS-232 to Ethernet, such as the Comet64 Internet Modem.
