Messing around with different projects. This is Desterm 128 running on VICE 128. It's connected from my PC's serial port to a standalone Linux device. Then, with my standalone Linux device, I telnet into a remote Linux server (which has an IRC client on it) and I run IRC. It sounds a little extensive, but a simple script automates it all.
The overall idea being, you can plug a very cheap standalone Linux device into your C64 and telnet anywhere.

V-1541To access CommodoreServer.com from your Commodore 64 computer, you need to run the V-1541 program on your C64. You may download the V-1541 disk image, but you will need to transfer it to a floppy disk. You will also need an Internet modem that supports RS-232 to Ethernet, such as the Comet64 Internet Modem.
