Is there a way to set up a private Comet64 server?
With winter on our doorstep, I'm thinking about little projects and activities I can do to help past the time. I'm looking at playing around more with my C128 and would like to somehow make more use of my Comet64.
Since we no longer have broadband Internet, out here on the homestead (only what limited data we have with our cell phone plan), I have not been using my Comet64. But, I was wondering if there was something I could do with setting up my own private disk server, on maybe a bare bones Linux box, that would allow me to use my Comet64 modem.
Anyone here know if Is there an easy(ish) way to get CSIP running on an Apache server? Or something even simpler, like the self contained application that can be used with the Retroswitch Flyer, to set up a private/local disk server? Or is CSIP proprietary?
I don't need the web interface to manage disk images via the browser (like it is on commodoreserver.com), I just wanted to do something locally that would allow me to access disk images with my C128 and Comet64 with my own server and router.
Any info/advice anyone can offer me on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
